Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of PishonIQ (the dashboard, APIs, and tracking SDK), operated by [company legal name]. By creating an account or installing the SDK on a site you control, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and any organization you represent.

2. The service

PishonIQ lets you install a tracking snippet on your own site or app to collect analytics events, which we store and let you query through a dashboard and API. Each PishonIQ account is organized into Organizations, Projects, and Environments; access to a Project’s data is limited to members of the owning Organization.

3. Your responsibilities

  • You must only install the PishonIQ SDK on sites/apps you own or are authorized to instrument.
  • You are responsible for your own compliance with privacy law (e.g. GDPR, CCPA) toward your visitors, including providing any required notices or consent mechanisms on your own site — PishonIQ provides the tooling but cannot determine what a given site is legally required to disclose.
  • You must not use PishonIQ to collect special categories of data (health, financial account numbers, government IDs, etc.) through custom event properties unless you have an independent, lawful basis and have secured our written agreement to process it.
  • You are responsible for keeping your ingestion keys and account credentials confidential; a leaked key can be rotated or revoked from Environment Settings.

4. Plans, billing, and trials

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor. Trial and free-plan limits (seats, event volume, data retention) are described on our [pricing page] and may change with notice. Downgrading or cancelling takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we don’t provide prorated refunds for partial periods except where required by law.

5. Data ownership

You own the data you send us through the SDK or dashboard. We process it solely to provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of your analytics data, and you can export or request deletion of it as described in that policy.

6. Availability and support

We aim for high availability but do not currently offer a contractual uptime SLA outside of [enterprise plan terms, if any]. Support is provided via[support channel/email] on a best-effort basis for free/trial plans and with defined response times for paid plans as described on our pricing page.

7. Termination

You may stop using PishonIQ and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the ingestion API, or fail to pay for a paid plan after notice. On termination, your data is deleted per the retention terms in our Privacy Policy, except where we’re required to retain records (e.g. billing records) for a legal purpose.

8. Disclaimers and liability

PishonIQ is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PishonIQ’s total liability arising from these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
